The Key To 2015 Schedule Your Priorities And Do The One Most Important Thing

Developing the Next Generation of Rainmakers The Key to 2015: Schedule Your Priorities and Do the One Most Important Thing I learned a great deal from reading Dr. Stephen R. Covey’s books and listening to him on tapes and CDs. I learned because what he wrote and said made sense to me and I could actually do it right away. If you are willing to have an open mind and just follow the ideas from Stephen R. Covey below, you will see some great results. In 7 Habits of Highly Effective People he taught me, and others, a great deal about focusing on our priorities. I dug even deeper into the idea in his book: First Things First. Here is a quote from 7 Habits I like and have discussed with lawyers I coach: The KEY is not to prioritize what’s on your schedule, but to schedule your priorities.  And this can best be done in the context of a week. And, here is a quote from First Things First I like and have discussed with lawyers I coach: What is the one activity that you know if you did it superbly well and consistently would have significant positive results in your personal life? What is the one  that you  know  that if you did it superbly well and consistently would have a significant positive results in your professional or work life? What did I do and what should you do? Each week I decided what my personal and professional priorities were for that week and scheduled them on my calendar. What are your priorities for next week? What is the one thing in your personal life? What is the one thing in your professional life? I ask lawyers I coach to share their answers to these questions with me. You are welcome to share your answers also. Want to learn more about client development and stick with it even when you are busy?
